By creating an account or using Merry Go Market, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information
  • Maintaining the security of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Verifying your email address before listing or purchasing items

3. Listing Rules

All listings are subject to our Listing Guidelines, which describe what items are and are not allowed on the platform. Listings are automatically reviewed by AI for compliance with our safety policies. Listings that violate our guidelines will be rejected.

Sellers must accurately describe item condition, disclose any defects, and provide truthful information. Misrepresenting items may result in account suspension.

4. Prohibited Conduct

  • Listing recalled, banned, or prohibited items
  • Misrepresenting the condition, safety, or origin of items
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
  • Harassing other users through the messaging system
  • Attempting to complete transactions outside the platform
  • Using the platform for any illegal purpose

5. Payments & Fees

All payments are processed through Stripe. Sellers must complete Stripe Connect onboarding to receive payouts. A platform fee of 15% is deducted from each sale, plus standard payment processing fees. Buyers pay the listed price plus any applicable shipping costs.

6. Shipping & Local Pickup

Sellers are responsible for shipping items promptly and providing valid tracking information. For local pickup orders, buyers and sellers coordinate pickup details through the messaging system. Merry Go Market is not responsible for items during shipping or pickup.

7. Limitation of Liability

Merry Go Market is a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee any items listed on the platform. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of listed items beyond our automated screening measures. Buyers should inspect items upon receipt and contact sellers directly with any concerns.

8. Dispute Resolution

Buyers and sellers should first attempt to resolve disputes directly through the messaging system. If a resolution cannot be reached, contact our support team through your account dashboard. We reserve the right to mediate disputes and issue refunds at our discretion.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, our listing guidelines, or engage in prohibited conduct. You may close your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
